East Norfolk Sixth Form College created a new entrance area this year, as part of the College's 10 year Estates Masterplan. The college has been extended a number of times and the new entrance at the centre of the campus is designed to create an obvious, attractive and distinctive central entrance.
The area created provides a reception, study pods and meeting hubs for the students and staff to enjoy. The new reception has been accommodated in one of the existing buildings that has been incorporated into the new refurbishment area. In order to achieve this, the walls below the roof line needed to be cut out so the new curved wall of the reception could be constructed.
Our services also provided the engineering support to design the glulam beams, helping to reduce the carbon foot print of the refurbishment.
